Fire Hose Reels
A fire hose is a high pressure hose used to carry water to a fire to extinguish it. It is designed to be used as a quick response method for fighting fires in their early stages. Fire Hose Reels are suitable for use on fires fueled by burning paper, textiles, wood, most plastics and rubber.
Fire Hose Reels are installed to provide an easily accessible and constantly controlled supply of water for fire fighting purposes. Fire Hose Reels are permanently connected to the water supply and consist of a main turn on/off valve, a hose guide, a thirty six (36) meter length of non-kinking hose 19mm in diameter and a twist or lever nozzle.
Guardian Fire Control can supply Fire Hose Reels and replace damaged hose reels and hoses, as well as providing routine maintenance.
Fire Hose Reels are subject to bi-annual and annual inspection and testing in accordance with AS1851-2012.
