Fire Extinguishers
Guardian Fire Control carries a full range of Water, Foam, Wet Chemical, Carbon Dioxide and Dry Chemical Powder type fire extinguishers. 
Fire Hose Reels
Fire Hose Reels are installed to provide an easily accessible and constantly controlled supply of water for fire-fighting purposes.
Fire Blankets
Fire blankets are manufactured from fire-resistant fabric and are used to smother flames by reducing the oxygen supply to the fire. They are most commonly used on cooking oil and fat fires. Once used, these should be replaced as they can be contaminated with residue from the fire which could re-ignite if used again.
Fire Equipment Signage
Guardian Fire Control carries a range of fire industry based signage for installation and can source other safety signage in both UV-stabilised acrylic and metal.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Portable Fire Protection Equipment
Bi annual and annual inspections of Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose Reels and Fire Blankets in accordance with AS1851-2012.
Pressure Testing of Portable Fire Protection Equipment
Five yearly pressure testing of Fire Extinguishers in accordance with AS1851-2012.
Recharging of Portable Fire Protection Equipment
Recharging of Fire Extinguishers following a discharge or loss of pressure, in accordance with AS1851-2012.
Fire Hydrants
Bi annual and annual inspections of Fire Hydrants, annual flow testing and five yearly testing of hydrant systems in accordance with AS1851-2012.
Emergency and Exit Lights
Testing of exit and emergency lighting systems is bi-annual and will include a drop test to determine the integrity of the batteries and their ability to power the lights for a minimum of 90 minutes in accordance with AS2293.2.
Fire Safety and Evacuation Training
Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008 require first response fire training for all workers at intervals of not more than two years. Guardian Fire Control offers Fire Safety and Evacuation Training in the Workplace using the approved Vocam Program. Participants learn how to use fire equipment and correctly implement emergency evacuation and skills learnt by workers can prove invaluable in avoiding potential incidents.
Fire Evacuation Diagrams
All buildings in Queensland must have Evacuation Diagrams in place. Guardian Fire Control can prepare diagrams for your building or workplace which will comply with all the requirements of the new regulations.
Fire Safety & Evacuation Management Plan
All buildings in Queensland must have a fire safety and evacuation management plan of action called a Fire Safety Evacuation Management Plan in place.
Fire Safety Audits
Guardian Fire Control has on staff, accredited Fire Safety Advisors who can carry out fire safety audits and report on all fire safety compliance issues and make the necessary recommendations to bring buildings to compliance with current regulations.
Short and long term rental of Fire Extinguishers
Guardian Fire Control has a range of reconditioned portable fire extinguishers available for rent or hire. Short or long term rentals are available. Extinguishers can be delivered and collected from site. All fire equipment supplied is maintained in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.
